A fateful encounter.

Sunday 15 July 2007

A humiliating defeat at the hands of a Poring spawn. It was by far time to retrain myself!

I had decided to head back to good old Hodemines, fighting vast numbers of inferior battles would surely make me stronger, ok not so much, but It would make me feel a damn Sight better!

I arrived in town to pick up the usual supplies, well, pretty much just some lunch for the trip. This wouldn’t take long, the National society of the protection of Vandons would be having a field day by day end. While I was coming out of the shops with some juice and food, I decided to stop across the board and check up to see if anyone was eager to have anything… inhumed.

There was unfortunately nothing of the sort, however there was a disgruntled bandit member requesting some help to and I quote “shoe theose hoes bos”. If his lack of grammar and spelling was any indication of his mathematical ability in paying me too much, this could be quite rewarding.

I set out through the town gates, swinging my sword randomly at little bugs and the off Pukui I came across. I got a little exited as I grew closer to the bandit camp, he said to meet me on the outskirts and I was a little late, the sun had risen by the time I arrived, and I was then running headlong to the gates hoping he was still there, if he wasn’t then well, I’d have to bash some heads together myself, but I wouldn’t get paid for it!

I turned the last corner to the bandit camp and THWACK! I ran head long into a girl who was just standing there!? Who the hell does she think she is hanging outside a camp full of bandits!
